This is a short story written by Mr. Tommy Busch and illustrated by Enrique Barrios. I'm not sure if it truly is just an El Paso, TX thing, but man, there were some good damn stories. We are going to try to upload these mini comics and create them as often as we can. The quality of the scans aren't there yet, but the humor will make you bleed from in between your toes.

ReplyDeleteI always tell people about the Village Inn, when I was a freshman we would go there in Albuquerque and drink pots of coffee while smoking packs of cigarettes we bought from Circle Sams, a Circle K knockoff. We would sit for hours and tip heavy on a tab that might have been 10 bucks, and that only if we bought cheese sticks. God bless shit town living.

ReplyDeleteConor, I keep forgeting you come from a mountain town as well with Villa Inn's. Godbless the times we could just sit around smoking cigarettes and keep ordeing a free bowl of cherries or Dino fries when funds were available.

ReplyDeleteHaha one time Nicole and I sat up @ the Inn doing the cool thing that you do when you can first drive yourself to the Inn at 11:30pm, which is of course, smoking CLOVES. We couldn't figure out why everyone was so pissed at us, "we're just SMOKING JEEEEZ."
